Scorpion Clan Pages

The Subterranean Scroll Cave
The Scroll Cave is Yogo Sothotho's invaluable page of rumours and news about the Scorpion Clan. If you want to look for hearsay, libel and carefully placed lies, this is the place to go.

Pincers & Tail
Bayushi Yaro's website. One of the most popular Scorpion websites at the current time. Has details of popular Scorpion personalities and the Gold Storyline.

Tears of Stone
The one and only Scorpion Webcomic!

House of the Spring Chrysanthemum (Last Updated February 2002)
One of my favourite Scorpion sites, and one of the most attractive. Yogo Onokae has inherited this site from the noble Yogo Ono. Here is gathered alternative rules, hilarious leaks and the wonderful Densetsu.

Junshin: Home of the Honourable Scorpion (Last Updated in 2002)
A new incarnation of the Website previously known as the Way of the Hourable Scorpion.

Shadows of the Bayushi (Last Modified June 10, 2001)
Bayushi Hidari's Website. Have a look at the Book of Lies, a collection of Scorpion statments in the style of the little lies from Way of the Scorpion.

Other 5 Rings Sites

The Kolat Courier
The home of foul Kolat and Dynasty members ... this online L5R magazine is nevertheless one of the most topical and up to date news sites on the web at the moment.

The Writings of the Deathseeker
Formerly the Shadowlands Refuge of the Lion Clan, the original news site for L5R. If you want old news, deck archives, email from the leading lights of L5R and spolier lists, this is the only place to go. It also has links to most of the rest of the main 5 Rings sites as well.

The Imperial Auction Block
Not really a five rings website as such, but an auction site dedicated just to 5 rings cards and other materials. its trustworthy and attracts some huge auctions of stuff you won't see anywhere else. For example its the place John Wick used to sell off his 5 rings cards to fund Orkworld.

The Miya Archives & Rokugan's Scrolls of History
Two excellent sites featuring extensive archives of flavour texts, past stories and more. If its been written about Rokugan its probably here!

Otaku Karo's Web Pages
Otaku Karo is my wife and a former Unicorn Player. This site has not really been updated through Gold, but she is planning to update it for Diamond.

Articles and Card focuses for 5 Rings

Yogo Ono's Densetsu
Wonderful articles on the world of Rokugan and the world of ancient China and Japan. The Densetsu contain valuable background information as well as detailed notes on how that information can be applied to both the CCG and the RPG.

Zen's Card of the Week
The original and longest running set of card articles for L5R. The card of the week is an invaluable archive of tactics, strategy and techniques. Originally produced by Zen himself, and then moved to a whole host of talented guest writers the series finally came to an end with the last week of the 20th Century.

Sources for 5 Rings

A Book of 5 Rings
An Electronic copy of the book for 5 rings players, the Book of 5 Rings. Of course you all have a copy of your own already (I am sure) but perhaps you are away from it and need to study it online.

Dogwood Blossoms
An electronic Haiku Magazine, full of some very nice material as well as articles and beginners corners. The magazine is not currently in production, but the back issues are online to view.

Jim Breen's Ukiyo-E Gallery
A source for the Ukiyo-E prints of artists such as Hokusai. These give nice sources for web page illustrations and give insights into the feel of japanese culture, very important for 5 Rings.

The Ukiyo-E Museum
Another web site of Ukiyo-E prints, including some nice images of monsters and ghosts.

Kagedo Japanese Art
Kagedo is in fact a company selling Japanese prints, pottery, carvings, lanterns etc. Their web site is full of wonderful images of their stuff, though unfortunatly no explanitory texts.
