Hello, this is the home page of James and Christie Lovell. THAT'S RIGHT BUDDY!!!, it is another one of those millions of personal pages floating around in cyber space. So if you are turned off by the prospect of reading yet another one of these pages you can leave now!
 

Alright, now that I've gotten that off my chest I suppose that I should continue. My name is James Lovell and I am currently a guitar instructor in Allen, Texas. I have spent entirely too much time as a student at one college or another and I finally received my second degree, a Bachelor of Music in Composition, from the University of North Texas in 1999.

For a little over ten years I also played regularly for morning worship at my two previous churches. During part of that time I volunteered with the youth in something of a nontraditional music director's capacity. Having officially achieved burnout now, I am dedicated to having more of a detatched slacker style attitude toward the American religious establishment. The church that I currently attend seems to be just the right place for me at this time. Freedom of conscience over disputable things is certainly taken much more seriously here. They have achieved a sigificantly better balance between form and freedom here that stricter churches can only dream about.

Enough with all the serious crap! Among other things I enjoy gaming and reading entirely too much fantasy and sci-fi. I am especially enamored with Middle Earth, the world of JRR Tolkien but when it comes to game worlds I use primarily the Forgotten Realms setting by TSR.
