Lorien Sky Lovell is the most recent addition to the House of Lovell. She was born to us in October of 2002. Christie and I are exhausted in this photo from the hospital but I still like it. | This is our little girl right after she was born. This picture makes me think of yoda. |  |

| In '96 Christie and I took off to New Mexico for vacation. As a young punk I had been a boy scout and was used to long hot hikes whereas Christie was not quite so used to this sort of thing. At Bandolier National Monument we made a vain attempt to see what we hoped would be a roaring waterfall that turned out to be barely a trickle. In the process we braved treacherous heights. The trail was fairly narrow and it made me a bit dizzy to look down the side of it into the yawning chasm. |  |

| In '97 Christie and I went to the Cornerstone festival. I had a chance to see JJ here since he was playing with Plumb. An impromptu kazoo and trumpet duet spontaneously ensued. |  |
