A line of games produced by Games Workshop, based in a fantasy setting (The Warhammer Old World) and a far future universe (Warhammer 40,000). The Games include four wargames (Warhammer fantasy battle, Warhammer 40K, Epic, and Necromunda), numerous associated miniture and board games (Space Hulk, Space Fleet, Blood Bowl, etc.) and a roleplaying game Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. The world has also spawned a large number of spin-off novels, many by Ian Watson.
