A


Archon's Tea (cost 1s/pouch, doses 5)
Archon's Tea is an invigorating and warming drink, well beloved of monks and priests who must work long hours. It adds +1 to all sense rolls for an hour and restores d3 fatigue when drunk. It can be addictive however, and a user must make a will roll each day he drinks it or gain a mild additiction.

B


Blade Oil (cost 3ata6s/flask, doses 7)
Used to sharpen a sword over a course of a weak it gives +1 damage. After combat with an armoured foe the blade must be resharpened to retain the edge.

Beserker's Potion (cost 7s, doses 1)
Whoever drinks this potion becomes beserk. When the potion wears off they must roll HT-3 or take 1d damage. It must be used carefully, since it includes many poisonous herbs.

Cat's Tail Poultice (cost 4p, doses 1)
A poultice that heals damage (2 points) done to the heel. It has no effect on any other injury.
Uses : - Cat's Tail - Lettuce Leaf - Moss

Colewort's Infusion (cost 6p, doses 1 or 2)
A full dose of this infusion will keep one totally sober for a whole evening. A half dose gives +2HT or Carousing for the same period.

D


Dust of Dryness (cost 3s/pouch, doses 3 or 4)
A white powder. If thrown into liquid it dries it instantly, Up to a cubic yard of liquid will dry in this way. If even a drop of water is added to this dust it will return to its original liquid form.

Dust of Tracelessness (cost 5s/pouch, doses 3-4)
If scattered along a trail, all animals or trackers are at -5 to follow.

Elixir of weakness (cost 10-12s, doses 1)
Whoever drinks this becomes listless and weak. (ST, HT and Will -5). Each day they should roll against modified health, with a bonus equal to the days they have suffered, to shake off the effects.

Falling Pouch (cost 2s, doses 1 month)
This small pouch of herbs, when worn around the neck, cures vertigo.
Uses : - Dill - Fetherfew - Mint - Roses and Dog Rose

Hare's Oil (cost 1s, doses 1)
This oil cures ear injuries. It can heal earache, gives a HT roll to cure deafness, and heals d3 damage to the ears.
Uses : - Dill - Golden Langwort - Olive Oil


L


Lark's Powder (cost 1s, doses 1)
This powder will paralyse any snake or serpent to which it is fed, and drive off any that it is thrown to the ground in front off. Dragons and Wyrms get a will roll to resist the effects.

Ointment of Base Mullein (cost 6p, doses 1)
An ointment that helps cure burns (heals 1 burn damage), reduces pain and can help to prevent scarring.
Uses : - Base Mullein - Dock Leaf

Ointment of Stars (cost 1s, doses 3)
Cures bruises when applied. The bruises (and d3 bruising damge) fade in five or six hours.

Ointment of Caedmon's Jade (cost 4ata/jar, doses 3-6)
This ointment provides healing for long lasting scars. A scar so trated becomes less obvious, skin regains its normal colour and texture and so forth.

Oil of Beauty (cost 2ata/vial, doses 3)
An application of this oil makes the character more attractive. They gain charisma 2 and 3 levels of sex appeal. The effects last for 12 hours.

Oitment of Dittany (cost 7p, doses 3)
This ointment can be used to draw splnters and dirt from a wound. Used to treat scrapes it heals 1pt in half an hour.

Periapt of Marvelous Healing (cost 5ata, doses 1)
This periapt, once drunk, protects for a month. The subject heads 1 extra damage per day. In addition it wounded then within an hour of injury they regain 1 damage for each wound done (over 1HT). Broken bones menid in 2 days, even crippling injuries heal in about 4 days. This periapt needs many rare ingredients, including the Camurius Stone, musk, glands from otters, and various herbs.

Rose Oil (cost 15s/vial, doses 3)
This is a marvelous perfume with a light flower smell. It gives +1 sex appeal.

Tincture of Warding (cost 2ata3s/vial, doses 3 or 4)
When used as an ingredient in the construction of a ward or circle it adds +3 to its strength.
