Bayushi Sunetra

This is the deck I used for our main Seeds of War tournament in Edinburgh (23 people), I came 5th

Its quite different from the deck I used in pyrite, instead of going corrupt and using Tsuburu I went honorable with Sunetra. Sunetra deserves the place of honor in this deck, since she is far and away the main killer of provinces. Kwanchai defends against duels (my current version of this deck now has 3x Kharmic Strike), and Churai is nice, but Sunetra and Heavy Infantry was the main province killer.

I have since played with some aspects of this deck. On the recommendation of people online I have tried no-dachi instead of charges and added Imperial Honor Guard, both of these additions are going right out! The no-dachi was always too expensive, and was another card to lose to duels and assassins, and the honor guard were always too expensive to use. Another person definately gone for the deck is Kamnan, he costs far too much for his force. He has been replaced by more Paneki and Yudoka, to try and increase the chance of 2nd turn province kills.

This deck is still not strong enough versus honor. Although in time of war helps its not enough, I might try Imperial Funeral as well. Its also possible that both Shosuro Techniques and Overconfidence could make way for slander or deeds to give more defence against honor, but having tried the deck without overconfidence there were plenty of times I would rather have had it instead.

Note, the deck has no underhand only becasue my wife Victoria was using it =)
