Character Tags

Any Hamster character can be enhanced by purchasing Character Tags from his initial points. A Tag gives the character bonus abilities, while at the same time applying restrictions.

SCOUT: 3 points
Scouting +2 Listening +1 (further) Dodging +1: Willpower -3

It is a scout's job to move ahead of his comrades and to find danger that may threaten them. Scouts are loners through and through. Though respected they never trust anyone but themselves and are therefore seen as cold and strange. A Scout has -3 Willpower for the purposes of impressing or persuading people.

THIEF: 2 points
Climb +2 Dodging +1 Listening +2: Illegal

A hamster Thief is a master of stealth. They can climb impossible routes, like light-flexes and pieces of string, to steal things of price and value. A Thief is always trim and fit. Unfortunately they are also highly outside the law, and Hamster law is military law. Even a thief working for a special ops team will never be trusted, not ever, not at all.

ASSASSIN: 3 points
Seeing +1 Shooting +1 Fighting +1: Illegal, Cruel

Assassins are highly trained and deadly (often they will be Thieves or Scouts too). Any blow which they inflict, be it from a sword or a gun, does one more point of damage than it would otherwise have done. Unfortunatly Assassins are not only cruel, they are derranged by their jobs as well, and are cruel and heartless.

COMMS: 2 point
Tinkering +1 Communications, Battle Code

Every strike team relies on its comms specialist. Who else could use the magical comms crystals to get them help and information? Only a trained Comms Hamster can make use of the crystals, otherwise, forget it.

LEADER: 2 points
Bravery +2 Command +1: Heroism

A Leader is a Hamster of stirring courage, who can make his troops go where they must, inspired by his bravery to be brave themselves. Unfortunatly the military code of a Hamster Leader can often put him into danger, and he must make a Willpower roll to avoid rushing in to danger to right some wrong.
