The Prayer of St. Dumas aids a warrior in combat. When the prayer is uttered the Priest should choose a weapon and a shield (or a block skill). The warrior gains +1 to hit and damage with that weapon and a +1 block with that shield. 1 second to cast, 3 fatigue, 1 fatigue to maintain per second

This prayer protects a person from evil or harmful forces. The prayer grants a bonus to the PD of its target, up to a maximum of +3. 1 second to cast, 2fat/PD, half to maintain per second

This player protects someone from the effects of harmful blows. Keep a note of the amount by which this prayer is made when uttered. This much damage is subtracted from the blows sustained by the warrior it is cast upon, untl the blessing wears out. Until the extra damage is used up 2 points are subtracted from every wound the warrior takes. 5 mins, 3 fatigue

Prayer of Battle (M/VH) (pre-req. Prayer of St. Dumas) [ ritual, congregation ]

This prayer is intended to prepare great bodies of men for battle. Those protected by the prayer, when fighting evil or heathen men, find little twists of luck in their favour, an arrow strikes an enemy chief, a river runs in spate to help an escape. Casting this prayer on an army takes many Priests.
