There is a certain lack of fireplaces for the castles, si I decided to make my own. This fireplace is attached to a castle wall section with polystyrene cement, making a convenient piece to slot into a castle construction. The fireplace consists of a base, a lintel and an arched fireplace, all glued to a back plate which is what is stuck to the wall section. Within the fireplace is a small plastic box with playmobil flames in it, to provide a removable fire.

Since this was the first bit I made I was still experimenting with the paint mixture, which is why the base and top are not the same colours.
