Starting at 1st level, you can communicate telepathically with any creature you can see within 30 feet which can understand at least one language.
Starting at 6th level, when a creature makes an attack roll against you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on that roll. If the attack misses you, your next attack roll against that creature has advantage if you use it before your next turn. Refreshes on a rest.
Starting at 10th level, your thoughts can't be read unless you allow it, you have resistance to psychic damage, and whenever a creature deals psychic damage to you it takes the same amount that you do.
Starting at 14th level, you gain the ability to open a portal to the prison of the night serpent at your location. If you do not posses the key to the prison then the portal only allows the primordial to strike through it - everyone in a 30ft sphere centred on the portal takes 6d10 psychic damage and is frightened for one round.
If you posses the key to the Night Serpent's prison then you may open the portal fully. The Night Serpent may pass a portion of its essence through the portal, manifesting on your plane. The portal cannot be closed unless the key is cast through the portal.
