Bloodstone Heart
Treasure5
Price16
Bloodstone veins run like tiny threads through rock outcroppings in the Deadlands. Occasionally they bunch together into knots the size of a fist or larger. These Bloodstone Hearts can be persuaded to lend energy to a weakened system, healing Weakening Damage (or Fatigue). A Stonetalker can coax a Heart into healing D6+Level Weakening Damage, taking 2 Weakening Damage as they do so (unless they roll a critical). Each time they do so roll a D20. On a 16 or more the Heart is drained, and beats no more.

A corrupted Stonetalker can tap a darker gift within the stone. For each 2 corruption the Stonetalker sheds into the stone 2 Weakening of Fatigue can be bestowed on another. One of the Stonetalker's remaining corruption becomes permenant when they do this.

Only a Stonetalker can identify such a stone. They must be in the Deadland hills, and succeed in an identification roll resisted by a 23 (see Stonetalker rules).
Chadlian Shining Stone
Treasure2
Price5
A Chaldian Shining Stone is a white crystal, usually about a handsbreadth long, which emits a strong white light. When freshly unearthed such a stone will light a normal room, but it rapidly becomes dimmer, dying out after about six months. These Crystals are in great demand for lighting the homes of nobles.

While any miner can extract the stones from the ground, a Stonetalker is required to locate new seams. They can do this near Chald if they have Mining 2 and can succeed in an identification roll resisted by a 20 (see Stonetalker rules).
Crimson Eye
KeywordsStonetalker
Treasure6
Price14
A Crimson Eye is a deep red and perfectly spherical gemstone about two fingers across, which cleaves to other stones. It is only ever found with some other stone of power, nestled together with it. The spirit of the Crimson Eye is fiery and fierce, in-tune with the energies of the Red Sun, and it will use that connection to defend anyone who carries it. The bearer 4 points of Magic Defence against Red Order Magic.
Healing Stone
KeywordsStonetalker
Treasure2
Price6
Healing Stones are usually egg sized, grey and flecked with silver or red. Only a Stonetalker can really distinguish them from other stones, and even a trained native can search all day and never find one. These stones can be used to heal wounds by touching them to the wound, and using the Stonetalker Gift (or the Healing Stones skill).

Only a Stonetalker can identify such a stone. They must be in the Dryland or Deadland hills, spend at least two days searching, and succeed in an identification roll resisted by an 18 (see Stonetalker rules).
Iron Heart
KeywordsStonetalker
Treasure6
Price13
These stones are the work of corrupted Stonetalkers, the cruel spirits within respond to no one else. An Iron Heart is a knot of sacred iron ore, silverish and dull, the size of a clenched fist. At the touch of an evil Stonetalker a faint regular beat can be felt within. Bonding with an Iron Heart causes the Stonetalker 3 corruption.

By grasping the Heart and directing its will at a living creature the Stonetalker can cause the Heart to feed on the life of the target, drawing it into the Heart. Using the Heart in this way inflicts 1d8 damage to the target, ignoring normal armour. The victim's life is sucked into the stone, causing it to beat faster and grow hot, inflicting 1 Lethal on the Stonetalker. If the attack is continued then the stone grows hotter each round, inflicting 2 Lethal the second round and so forth. The Stonetalker gains 1 corruption each time they launch an attack in this way.

Once charged with energy the Stonetalker may draw power from the stone to resist damage or assault. Each attack stores one energy in the Heart, and each energy can be drawn off to prevent one damage from an attack, or to add 2 to a roll to resist a spell or attack. Stored energy bleeds away at a rate of one a day.

Only a Stonetalker can identify such a stone. They must be in an Iron mine, spend at least two weeks searching, and succeed in an identification roll resisted by a 25 (see Stonetalker rules).
Obsidian Soul
Treasure10
Price25
Once in a century a Stonetalker might stumble upon this most valuable of stones, a natural Obsidian Gem that falls from the rock face at a Stonetalker's touch. When discovered an Obsidian Soul is empty and sleeping, but a Stonetalker can make an Intelligence + Healing / Stones roll resisted by a 16 to wake it. Once awoken an Obsidian Soul must be carried close to the body. When the one wearing it dies their soul and spirit passes into the stone. If their body can be restored to positive Health, and the Soul breathed upon by a Stonetalker, then their spirit returns to their body and brings it back to life. When this happens the Obsidian Soul cracks, and no longer has power.

Only a Stonetalker can identify such a stone. They must be in the deep Obsidian hills, spend at least two weeks searching, and succeed in an identification roll resisted by a 40 (see Stonetalker rules).
Raven's Egg
Treasure7
Price19
These stones are small, egg shaped, grey and speckled, a little like Night Raven eggs, though they can be found here and there from the Ice Hills to the Dryland slopes. A Stonetalker who coaxes the spirit of the stone awake can use it to lay a blessing on another person (or themselves). A blessed person gains +1 on Physical, Spirit and Intelligence rolls to resist hostile effects for one month. When found such a stone has between 10 and 20 energy. Each blessing uses up one energy. When the last is used the stone crumbles into dust.

Corrupted Stonetalkers may use the Egg to inflict a curse instead. The person cursed suffers a -2 penalty on similar rolls for 1 month, and takes 1 weakening damage that will not heal till the curse is lifted. Each time the Stonetalker uses the curse they take 1 corruption. Once a person is cursed the Stonetalker may renew the curse (for another corruption) without seeing the target again.

Only a Stonetalker can identify such a stone. They must succeed in an identification roll resisted by a 25 (see Stonetalker rules).
Sable Eye
KeywordsStonetalker
Treasure6
Price14
A Sable Eye is a translucent black and perfectly spherical gemstone about two fingers across, which cleaves to other stones. It is only ever found with some other stone of power, nestled together with it. The spirit of the Sable Eye is cold and ordered, in-tune with the energies of the Dark Side, and it will use that connection to defend anyone who carries it. The bearer 4 points of Magic Defence against Black Order Magic.
Sacred Stone
Treasure7
Price19
A Sacred Stone is a rock from an important place, thought to be charged with earth power. A Stone has a store of 8 to 25 energy, which are spent automatically whenever the bearer fails an important roll (1 energy raises the roll by 1 point), as long as the Stone has enough energy to turn the failure into a success. The character has no way of knowing how much energy the stone contains, but when the energy runs out the Stone will turn white and then crumble away.

Only a Stonetalker can identify such a stone. They must be in a place charged with earth power and succeed in an identification roll resisted by a 25 (see Stonetalker rules).
