Hans' Diary : Edinburgh (6)

Eventually I had done enough research and prepared for Egypt. I'd got my Egyptian money, passport, visa and so on, bought some new rounds for my rifle, some new batteries for my torch, and some maps of Egypt to take with me. Hopefully this will be everything I need in Egypt, but you can never be sure what sort of danger might be waiting ...

Saying goodbye to my new friends in Edinburgh I make my way back to the ruins of Rosslyn castle to meet up with the Templars. Here their leader tells me that the Templars can send me directly to Egypt by ancient magic hidden in Rosslyn by their founders centuries before. I'm a little skeptical, I'm more of an airplane and postal service man myself and never have any need for magic, but I can't deny that its the only way I am likely to get to Egypt and complete this quest.

So I swallow my pride and ask to be shown this magic ...

They lead me to a strange device in the garden of the Chapel and direct me to stand inside (they tell me that they'll send my baggage after me). It seems stupid but what harm can it do ...

I wait ... and then something starts to happen ....

To be continued ...
