At last Ina is able to reign her terrified horse to a halt, far from the site of the ambush. All around her is a desolate landscape, bare rock rising up into the dusky sky, and running down to the edge of rank marshes. There is no sign of Arragorm or Pelgor, nor the brave men that set out with Ina on this quest and now darkness is beginning to fall.
Frustrated Ina wonders what to do next. She has no idea where she now is, and what has befallen her comrades. Do the other knights still live? She has no way of knowing. Who were the attackers and why did they come upon the knights with such prupose? One things is for sure, she swears, she will find out who is responsible and make them pay for the death of her freinds.
