Perhaps you are a visual learner. There is nothing wrong with this unless of course you are also illiterate. If you have serious difficulty with reading, and with today's public school sytem in the US this is becoming more common, sign up for a basic reading course somewhere. There are many things in the West that are overrated but literacy is not one of them.
