Applications using JACK Audio Connection Kit are usually complex, which makes troubleshooting basic issues difficult. When troubleshooting synchronization issues with the JACK Transport, often one complicated application will be plugged into the other. The one with the better reputation is considered to be the "good one." However, there is need for simple JACK applications that only serve to be simple auditing tools.
